Wire Drawing machine Extra Heavy Duty Bull Block:-
BENGAL FEATURES OF CONSTRUCTION
Close grain cast iron made main body with base and generally built with space walls and ribs for proper alignment and rigidity. Drawings block constructed in specially graded casting, hard metalised and ground at wire line to increase abrasion resistance. Phosphorus Bronze gear and high carbon steel worm immersed in oil bath reservoir in the machine body to absorb its heat of action while in load to maintain a long life of gear set. Heavy duty ball and roller Bearing fittings for shafts and worm with the provision for oil seals. Water cooled Die and Block, water circulation arrangements for cooling the drum and intensive water cooling arrangements for die box. The machine should be provided with necessary Guards.

OPERATIONA MANUAL
Wire rod is pointed in the pointing machine and inserted through the die positioned in the Die Box of 1st wire drawing machine should be passed through mechanical De-Scaling (in case of M.S. Wires). The end of wire is fastened to a locking device attached to the drum which is rated by push bottom starter.
The end of wire fastened to the block gets pulled and coiled around the drum. As the wire gets pulled through the die having higher inlet dia and lower outlet die. I.e. the diameter of drawn wire gets reduced. The starting end of the drawn wire released from lock of 1st drum is passed through overhead loops and continuous pulley on the drum and brought down and inserted through the die of 2nd drum and drawn through die for further reduction. Thus there is a continuous operation of the wire through all the wire drawing drum in a set to get the required finished diameter of wire. The machine is stopped to unload finished materials when the drum of last wire drawing machine in the set gets fully loaded with the drawn wire and the restarted. The machine is stopped after finishing one bundle of raw materials and then the end is welded to another end of a fresh bundle and the processes continues. In case of accidental snapping of wire, the snapped ends are welded by welding machine for continuous processing.
